fEX Equipment Rail
The fEX Equipment Rail is designed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 19054 as an accessory for stretchers and hospital beds, as well as for emergency services vehicles in accordance with DIN EN 1789.
Rule 1 of Annex VIII of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) applies to the fEX Equipment Rail, making it a class I medical device.
This means that all requirements for safe and compliant use of the rails in the vicinity of the patient are met.
So that you can attach your devices without hesitation, the rails are approved for the following loads:
- Clinical use up to 20 kg
- Emergency services up to 15 kg
The profile ends of the rail are enclosed on both sides, eliminating the need for end caps. End caps pose a risk of injury if lost and make disinfection more difficult.
We not only apply the legally required markings (maximum load, UDI, etc.) as laser engravings, but can also add your personalized requirements (logo, radio identification, inventory number, etc.).
